Jill Blair

Jill realised her ambition to work and care for animals at the age of 19, when she joined a vet practice in Renfrew as a nursing assistant. She worked in the role for 10 years before taking a break to have her family. Jill found herself back doing what she loves when she joined the Shore Vet Centre team in 1996 for a maternity cover position, and has been here ever since. Jill has had a variety of pets over the years including tortoises, bearded dragons, and snakes. You name it, she’s had one. At the moment she has 2 Hungarian Vizslas called Ruby and Finn, 2 Devon Rex cats called Gizmo and Elmo, and 2 guinea pigs with the very Scottish names of Haggis and Hamish. When Jill is not working, she enjoys swimming, playing golf, and spending quality time with her lovely grandson.
