No owner wants to experience an emergency situation involving their pet, but accidents and sudden illnesses happen, so it’s important that you are prepared ahead of time for what you will do when your pet requires urgent veterinary care. In those instances when your pet needs to be treated and it’s outside of our normal hours, we recommend that you contact the Glasgow University Small Animal Hospital Out of Hours Service, located on Bearsden Road in Glasgow, G61 1BD.
You can reach this service by either phoning the number for the Shore Veterinary Centre (01475 637312), at which point you will be automatically transferred to the answering service, or you may phone them direct on 0141 330 7690.
