Growing up in a veterinary family, Fergus could not see himself doing anything else and being a veterinary surgeon became a vocation. Graduating in 1981 (alongside Nigel) from Edinburgh Vet School, Fergus ventured to South Africa and before returning to run his family practice in Bedfordshire. Fergus returned to his roots in Scotland in 2009, when he reunited with Nigel and began work at Shore Vet Centre. Fergus has gone on to study pain management at Edinburgh and qualified with honours in 2014. Because of this he has a keen interest in helping pets lead happy, pain free and healthy lives. Outside of work Fergus enjoys spending his time doing some open water swimming and photography.
