Clare Wilson

I’ve been with Shore since June 2020. I came as a student vet nurse to help out for 6 weeks….and I’m still here now! I qualified as a veterinary nurse in November 2020 in the midst of the pandemic (6 months later than planned but I finally got there).

I’ve always had a love for animals, spending a lot of my childhood in Ireland, where my family is from, surrounded by various animals big and small.

I have 2 beautiful border collies called Blue and Murphy, who at home are always kept in check by my lovely (but feisty) cat Hamish.

When I’m not working you can usually find me out and about with the boys attempting to burn off some of their energy.

I have a particular interest in anaesthesia and surgical nursing and hope to further develop my knowledge in these during my nursing career
